Days Inn by Wyndham Roswell

We checked in later, around 8pmish. At first glance, the room was mediocre, what you'd expect from a Days Inn type of lodging experience. Narda was polite, kind, and helpful at check in. The room was upper level as I requested, though it is still on the main strip so traffic was loud for a Saturday night. The issue began once we started to get settled into the room. The shelf where the coffee maker sits was absolutely disgusting. I lifted the coffee maker to move it aside, and upon doing so found a rather large heap of what I assume to be sugar. Also of note were countless little black hairs, some curly, others obviously trimmed pieces- ALL OVER THE COUNTER NEAR THE COFFEE. EW. Upon further inspection there were actually countless items that were disgusting and clearly not clean or in good repair. Thankfully the sheets were seemingly clean and my family and I were too exhausted after our 12 hour drive to relocate to another room (though there wasn't one) or even another hotel. As someone who's worked in the hotel industry in various cleaning and hostessing roles over 25+ years, I'm thoroughly disgusted and disappointed. Do better Wyndham.

The breakfast area was clean and well maintained by staff. My housekeeping lady found an item left behind and ran out and caught me before I had driven off. Thats service. Thank you!

The bed, although small, was comfortable. The height of the toilet was good.

The floor was dirty and there was a half-dead roach in the bathroom.

The rooms are very nice, neat, and clean. Good location for what my wife and I wanted to do in the town.

The desk clerk was very helpful and kind

Thin walls. Could hear people in the room next door.
