I had a really wonderful stay at Palo Alto Inn. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks and snacks—and even a bottle of red wine in the room, which was such a lovely surprise. What truly stood out, though, was the team’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. I had accidentally left my MacBook in an Uber, and the staff were unbelievably helpful in assisting me with recovering it. They genuinely cared and took the time to support me, which meant a lot in a stressful situation. On top of that, the rooms were spotless thanks to the excellent cleaning staff, and the overall environment felt very safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. I’m really grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay here again.

I was initially concerned due to the 1950s exterior, but the room was great. It was very clean and modern with a microwave and refrigerator. The office has free snacks and the room had coffee and a complementary bottle of wine. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I only stayed one night, but if I come back to the area I will stay again. The only downside was no fitness center, but the value for the price made up for it. Much nicer than a lot of name brand places I have stayed in.

The location is great, right on El Camin9 but you don't get traffic noise. It looks like an older motel from the outside, but inside everything is clean and feels updated. Staff were super friendly, fridge in good functioning order, lots of little touches like free snacks! that tell you you're not in a big chain. Would definitely use again.

Wheelchair access from the parking area to reception is not straightforward. You can't easily get through from the parking lot and when I arrived a baby stroller was blocking the path. There is a ramp from the street, but no signage in the parking lot to advise wheelchair users that it's there. That said, they were very happy to help carry my stuff between the car and the room. I got a regular room amd there was space to park my chair and still maneuver around the room.

It was very clean. Room itself was quiet.

Very thin walls. Luckily we only had one person next door but we could hear every word he said on his phone. TV was out of order. Clocks were not set to right times.
