Days Inn by Wyndham Conneaut

Nothing special. Breakfast is a joke. Stale bread and bagels, dry cereal, out of apple juice. It’s a joke.

Friendly staff. Fast check in. Clean.

Very nice place, close to the areas that I was interested in, friendly staff

I liked that it was pet friendly with lots of grassy area for them.

Little disappointed with cleanliness especially of the bathroom. All in all though a good stay. Was quite.

Dirty ring around the bathtub. Dirty walls and floor. Rusted door hardware. Limited and cold breakfast. Had to change one of the rooms because it was so dirty.

My best assessment would be “lipstick on a pig”. This was an old Days Inn that was somewhat updated. It was old but we made the best of it. The bathroom was really cramped but not much can be done at this stage. The beds were comfortable. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast was really disappointing as there was basically cereal and some bagels or toast and some muffins. Nothing hot, no fresh fruits. Oh, no coffee in the room. Couldn’t seem to find any news or weather channels on the tv, just apps and you could use your personal Netflix account. If I’m in the area again I’m pretty sure I’ll keep driving.

I play drums in a band called ELMOZ FIRE. We were playing at Geneva on the Lake for Thunder on the Strip and just about every cottage and room was sold out. We chose the Conneaut Wyndham Days Inn because it's only a half hr drive from the Swiss Chalet. My wife is a singer in the band and we opted to stay here. It was rated 2 stars. After our two night, three day stay we couldn't figure out why. Upon arriving, the desk clerk was extremely polite and welcoming. It was a cool night for July and we needed extra blankets. We called the front desk and the blankets arrived within minutes. The surrounding area was enveloped by woods, quiet, serene and peaceful. The room was clean, and the Days Inn offered a FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. Being musicians, we slept through that. I'm sure Elmoz Fire will performing at Geneva on The Lake in 2025. I assure you were will be staying here again. I would love to add pics, but that field isn't working.
