room was clean but the hall and lobby smelled horible like smoke

45 minutes to Beech Mountain. The price was good. The location is in the middle of nowhere. Nice people and clean.

This hotel is what I expected. It's quite old and in need of an update, but the room was clean and basic. Note: They no longer offer a continental breakfast for guests.

This may have been one of the worst stays. There were holes in the curtains, the lobby smelled of smoke, and the atmosphere was overall uninviting. I paid about $110 for the room and thought it was closer to a $49.99 room. It certainly needs to be updated.

The staffs were very helpful when we let them know there is bed bug in our room.

A little outdated but comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff made for a great experience.

After we checked in and went to our room, we discovered mold in our bathroom. We took our room key back to the front desk and told them about the mold. They said they would refund our money but as of today they have not.

Nice and clean

Everything was fine except that Hotels.com listed a "Breakfast buffet". The hotel no longer serves breakfast. This was not a big deal to me but it is wrong. Slight "stale" odor to the room.

Pool was advertised on Expedia, but was covered up, in the middle of Summer. Complimentary Breakfast hasn't been available for over a year. Both were advertised, but NOT available. Very Musty and Very dated. But the sheets were clean and also the towels. Caulking around the tub was moldy. Tiles in the bathroom was probably the original from when it was built. Staff was very friendly. Owner needs to update all of the rooms and change the ad on Expedia or fix the pool and serve breakfast, not just coffee.
