The Renishaw

I was so surprised at how lovely the hotel was, the rooms were modern with lovely big showers and the decor was lovely. The staff were SO lovely and accommodating, they were so friendly and welcoming and made you feel like you were with friends. The food in the restaurant was absolutely incredible and such good value for money. Choosing The Renishaw for our trip was 100% the best decision and I couldn't recommend it high enough. Nothing, it was perfect

There was no breakfast. Not even one to buy.

The only window was a velux so no view, like being in a prison cell. Also no blind or curtain so I was woken at 5am by daylight There was no shower, only a bath and a hand held tiny shower head The room was on the third floor and there is no lift, this was not made clear in the listing The place is right on a main road

The room was very nicely presented and staff greeted us on arrival. Having been out most of the day the staff were really friendly in the bar on return and explained breakfast arrangements. Breakfast was just what we wanted, reasonably priced and staff were friendly too.

While the bath looked a lovely option it was less convenient than a shower in a relatively small space.

The room was very clean and a nice size. All the decor was lovely and the room really felt homely. Will definitely look at booking again when next in the area
