"Hampton Inn Quality, just being picky…"

I went to the Hampton inn Rock Hill for a 1 night over night to be able to see the Monks Walk for Peace which was taking place 2 miles from here. I’m a Hampton Inn fan/member, so it’s always my 1st choice when traveling. My room was a King Room with a fridge and microwave. I requested a 1st Floor and got it. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereal, waffles..I didn’t leave hungry that’s for sure! I deducted 1 star because, and I might be petty, but the coverlet on the bed was torn and tattered. It looked like a cat with long nails had shredded it. If I were hosting friends in my house, there is no way I would have put this coverlet on the bed for them to see. I don’t know if Housekeeping has the ability to decide if something is “beyond wear” and to trash it without supervisory approval, but they should have that ability. Besides that, everything was great..I’d definitely stay here again.

"i stay at Hampton a lot, but this one was rather a disappointment."

Breakfast was fair, eggs rather runny, only gravy for biscuits. Fresh cut fruit was a treat.

Our room had construction going on in hallway outside starting at 7:00 am, a rude awakening. They should have assigned us a different room.
