The floors in the room were filthy and the low lights.

The front desk clerk did her best to assist us!

We reserved this room because our high school baseball team was playing a game nearby but when we arrived they told us their system was down and we couldn’t check in! They told is to write out names on a piece of paper and we would get a refund. Then the owner arrived and told us that the system was up and since some of the people were still there that they had to stay and wouldn’t get refunds because we were refusing to take the room. By that time most of the team had already been picked up because they were initially denied by the hotel and it was late and the ride home was still another 2 hours and 30 minutes! The owner was really rude! The front desk clerk was nice and tried to help and so was the person I talked to thru booking.com. But when they called the hotel to verify the information the owner still told them that we couldn’t check drive back and they could accommodate us 🤣, needless to say we didn’t make the hour drive back to stay there!

First room was so dirty. Second room was dirty but we were there for work and had to be up at 4am so we took it. Went to the store and come back and cleaned the room ourself. I wish I could post pictures here to show it all.

Website description of amenities is not accurate. No EV charging No iron or ironing board, called down to front desk and was asked if I needed an ironing board. I said I could manage by ironing on the bed. No clock No phone in room One trash can - none in the bathroom area No closet No clothes hangers Coffee pot and coffee but no sugar, creamer or stirrers Room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the the water pressure was good.

Hotel is definitely on the older side and could use some upgrades

The location provided easy access to an event I was attending nearby. It was located close to several fast food restaurants. Check in was fast and easy with precheckin.

After checking in I went out to get gas, when I returned several of the rooms on my side of the building (Room 221) had open doors including my room. When I arrived at my room I found a worker laying on the floor checking his phone. I asked who he was and what he was doing, he told me they were cleaning the carpets and their machine was broken and only half of my room was complete. I told him he was done and to leave my room immediately. I spent the weekend with a wet carpet and had to put towels down on the carpet because of the wet floors. There was also a security aspect to this, no hotel staff was present and my items in the room were not secured.
