Rodeway Inn Allentown South

The train that runs behind the room was very noisy.

This hotel was close to where I was going and the only thing we could afford last minute.. I would not stay here again. The staff was nice, but I asked for more towels twice, was told they would bring them and never did. The place was clean but there were spots of paint missing on the walls and there were holes in the sheets. Also, we had two queen beds and only one of them had a blanket layer on it. The fridge and microwave were nice though.

This hotel is DISGUSTING.

This is extreme budget at it's fair stage. Absolutely no frills! Just enough to crash. The staff is foreign and are a bit rough around the corners. Its all good at least I got a smile. No elevator so you'll have a flight of stairs to battle. The lodge has active train tracks running up the side of the property. However we didn't really hear the trains inside. When we checked in the clerk not only gave us our room key but also the remote to the tv! So the cliental may be a bit mischeif. The free breakfast was no more than a bowl of cereal and kool aid. All in all for $67...we were able to get a hot shower and 8hrs of sound sleep so again just enough to crash.

Just one night but lights were going on and off. Hall smelled bad. Just not nice enough for $80. But for just sleeping it was fine. Nice guy working in morning.

Doable, but the cleansiness of the room could have been cleaner. The staff was helpful.

I hated it there! The staff was terrible! The toilet had no covering on top so I can hear the water running. The lights wouldn't work at times, it felt moist and sticky once we came in, door is kinda busted so its hard to lock, when we got there we noticed that there weren't any towels, the towel were moist and they took forever to bring them. I hated it there, me and my wife will never return there or recommend people there.

Had to spend the night in Allentown so we just picked the cheapest place possible. The area was ok, close to many eateries, but the property itself was kind of run down. The room had a musty smell and the bedding had holes in them. The walls were thin and you can hear the people on the second floor. We were super tired from all the driving so we just cranked up the AC and drown out the noise. The place is ok if you just want a place to sleep and go on your way the next day, otherwise, pick somewhere else better.
