The Old Railway Station

Carriage is beautifully presents for our 2 night stay. Room cleaned after the first night. Coffee in the room was fabulous. Breakfast was fabulous, perfectly cooked and tasty Very relaxed and not rushed at all. Beautiful venue in what was the waiting room? Staff professional and very friendly Thoroughly enjoyed the meal in the evening, waiter staff very accommodating and polite

A unique property and location

Good choice of both cooked and Continental.

There was no atmosphere in the dinner carriage , although it was fitted out to a high standard and we felt the food a bit limited in choice and was overpriced . However, the experience made up for it.

Such a unique experience, sleeping in a Pullman train carriage.

Nothing is

A very different experience, made most enjoyable by the owners and their staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food, delightful surroundings and everything leads to a further visit.

The originality of the station, its history on show and that there were choices of breakfasts, afternoon tea and either high class dining experience or close proximity to walk up the road to the public house.

A great experience. Original idea of using a closed railway station and Pulman carriages works really well. My only suggestion would be the ability to have alcoholic refreshments.
