Reception: inesistente - non si capisce da che parte entrare in hotel (ci sono 3 ingressi) e non è presente un locale adibito a reception; abbiamo pernottato una notte e non è stato fatto il check in (solo consegnato un modulo da compilare con i nostri dati e rendere la mattina dopo); solo una persona parlava inglese a livello scolastico. Camera e bagno: la quadrupla consiste in una matrimoniale con zona giorno (tavolo e 4 sedie) più camera aggiunta con porta comunicante; il bagno altra stanza a sé; il tutto comunque abbastanza pulito e spazioso. Ristorante: la sera del nostro arrivo non era disponibile, e neanche ci è stato proposto un ristorante alternativo...per fortuna nella piazza era presente una pizzeria italiana che ci ha fornito il cibo d'asporto - la colazione buona ma mal dislocata (sala col cibo distante da quella coi tavoli). Norme anti-covid: certificati vaccinali chiesti ma non controllati in alcun modo; igienizzanti scarsi; personale spesso con mascherine abbassate.

We spent three enjoyable nights at the Gasthof Hirschen. The location is perfect for exploring the upper Black Forest and in a cute little town. The food at the hotel was excellent. We ate there each of our three nights and enjoyed every meal. The breakfasts were delicious as well. The hotel itself was comfortable with everything in good condition and clean. We’d just recommend a sleeping mask for those who could be bothered by the sunrise or a blinking smoke detector. We would gladly come back for another stay in the Black Forest!

Als 3 Sterne Hotel so gerade noch akzeptabel. Stark in die Jahre gekommen. Entspricht von der Optik und der Ausstattung nicht 2019 eher 1985.
