We had a great experience at Ocean Glass Inn. Our first time visiting Rehoboth Beach

Super cute beach vibes but homey feel. Location is Great everything you need in walking distance. Loved it will be back to visit soon.

Clean room and bathroom. Good water pressure and temperature. Fast and easy check in and checkout.

I’m honestly not sure who’s to blame—Ocean Glass Inn or Expedia—but what I do know is that we were left without a reservation just three days before Memorial Day weekend. I received a cancellation notice through Expedia’s messaging system, with no explanation and no follow-up. Yet I had a confirmation email just days before that. When I contacted the hotel, the owner was curt and dismissive, insisting it was Expedia’s fault and that they had no record of my reservation or payment. She offered no help, no alternative, and frankly no empathy. At a minimum, some better communication or willingness to assist would have gone a long way. Expedia, on the other hand, has always been reliable in the past—but in this case, they did little to resolve the situation or support us during a stressful time. We ended up having to rebook elsewhere at nearly $400 more than our original reservation. That’s a huge hit for something that wasn’t our fault. Lesson learned: I won’t be booking with boutique hotels anymore, and this experience may be my last with Expedia. Both parties failed to take accountability and left us hanging when we needed support the most.

Ocean Glass Inn was exactly what I was looking for for a weekend visit-- cute, clean, and close to the beach. It was a lovely stay and I'd absolutely pick this spot to stay next time I'm visiting Rehoboth!

Good Hotel and amenities. Great parking and breakfast. The only con is depending on the room, the bathroom might be small. I would encourage to call if you are taller than 6 foot.

First time at Ocean Glass very comfy and clean. Close to everything and at night was quite. We are definitely coming back.

Ive stayed at Ocean Glass a couple of times in prior years and returned because of the great location. This trip our room was dirty...to the point where are feet were flithy from walking barefoot in the room. Additionally, they havent updated the matresses in a while...and they were subpar. I've always enjoyed staying here in the past. I'm uncertain I'd return in the future.

This was definitely not one of our best stays anywhere. I’m really not too picky in terms of hotels, and the reviews seemed really great. Older renovated motel, cute, some fun extras. Unfortunately I don’t know if any of those extras existed. This place boasted a “happy hour” from 4-5 which sounded fun, as long as it was in season and the motel had a minimum occupancy. At 2:00 on check in day I received a text that my key would be in the lobby door and the office was closed (weird, it’s within the 8-5 hours it’s supposed to be open but OK). Got the keys. No one to check us in. No happy hour (ok whatever, motel was full though) and we didn’t see a single employee all weekend. Super weird. For $200 a night we could have stayed closer to the beach but this seemed like a cute alternative. I now realize a lot of the “amazing” reviews were before the owners changed hands last year or so. My fault. Not sure if there was breakfast or not even though it was advertised, much like the social/happy hour. Again, never saw an employee to ask. Saw some reviews for a lot of the minor issues I had as well, so read all of them with caution. Only had one thin roll of TP for the weekend (yes we looked, as I know they’ll say I didn’t) so that was fun, since there was no one to ask. Overall, not worth the money. Save yourself and stay elsewhere.
