Wonderful friendly people and a beautiful hotel. Everything felt brand new, really well decorated in all area lovely garden area to sit and drink. Less than 5 mins walk to the beach and beach clubs. Great to have parking too. The people were really lovely here and their dog was sweet and friendly too. Thoroughly recommend La Fornace for a relaxing break.

Breakfast excellent, more than enough, both sweet and salty. We used spa center several times - worth of money.

VERY DECEIVING ONLY CHOSE IT AS IT SAID VIEWS AND A BEACHFRONT which was NOT there It was just on the road There was NO KETTLE AND TEA/Coffee in the room so has to pay for it everytime Staff was great but the location is NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY The walk to the station is very unsafe and through filthy streets Spent 50€ on taxis everyday to and from station as it wasnt walkable Breakfast was ok I feel bad because it was not fair that after putting the filters that i did to chooose A hotel…this place cameup with viees from the room and being near the station etc and having a pool/spa It felt like an air b&b litrally A nice version of it

The food was great at this hotel. The restaurant and pizza place was great. The staff were nice (well most of them) and the dog that walks around was very sweet too.

While the room looked like the photo, it was not the best. The bed was very squeaky, anytime you moved you woke the other person up. There was no covering on the sunlight so it was so bright in the room and the blind on the door did not cover all the glass so the outside light came in through there too that was on all night. The bathroom has seen better days as the shower was covered in limescale. Don't book the suite if you don't like stairs as it is up 4 levels. Also, there is the main road right outside the room so people can see in when driving and also a big car park right outside that is full all the time.

The hotel is beautiful - nice rooms. It is in a busy area, across from the beach. parking was a bit of a nightmare and we had to take a cab to go for dinner.

Very friendly staff. Modern clean fabulous rooms and great continental breakfast.

Location is not great. Looks like it’s just back from the beach and although technically it is, there is a really busy road right in front which every night had emergency vehicles hurtling by. Felt like being in an inner city hotel. Plus no view from any of the rooms other than the road and a major road fly-over. Also really dodgy walk of about 25 minutes along the fast road into castelmarre di stabia. Only way to get around is taxis which are horrendously expensive. Beach access is separate at a cost of €15 pp per day plus extra if you want an umbrella so factor that in.
