Valpolicella Hills

Marco and his family were great hosts. The place is conveniently located near the hospital in Negrar. It requires a little hike or a car to reach, but the view is amazing and very relaxing and beautiful. It is worth it. The place is clean and has everything you need for cooking, the heating/air conditioning work well, there is a great shower. The shops are a bit far, but again not a problem if you have a good car. We could not have picked a better place and location for our last days in Europe. Beautiful scenery to absorb relaxing on the patio underneath the 100 yo olive tree. Short trips to beautiful Lake Garda and Verona. Sumiko and Marco are the most marvelous hosts and walked and talked with us through a vineyard to a great wine tasting. Watching them hand pick olives for Marcos special oil was a delight. We had some terrific experiences in Italy but this was the best!

Be prepared for a somewhat challenging drive up the narrow, steep street to the driveway, and reversing out of the driveway. But, hey, this will be one of the many stories you will remember and tell about this wonderful accommodation.

This is a fantastic accommodation in every way. Modern interior and fresh and clean in the apartment. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to fix breakfast and dinners. There was even a dishwasher and washing machine. The view, over the entire Negrardalen. Clean and nice terrace with access to pool. and not forgetting the nice hostess Sumika And her husband

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean and tidy. The apartment was nicely placed and at times we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Kitchen was good and had all the basics you’d need.

Super nice hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had a bbq to use and booked a wine tour for us, and gave us a generous welcome basket of food items. There are gorgeous vineyard views and our kids enjoyed the pool a lot. The apartment is small for a family of four but very functional, with thought given to how to use every inch of the space well. All appliances worked perfectly.

We made the mistake of leaving our door open for about 30 minutes the first evening and ended up getting many many mosquito bites during our stay. This has nothing to do with the property or hosts, but we want other guests to know to be careful in keeping doors and windows closed.

Such a nice place, both the stay and the location. Clean and well-equipped. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful (reserved the best local pizza/pasta dinner for us in the mountains and invited us on a glass of local rosé, when we arrived). The beds are not high-end comfort, but fine - and we missed some light by the table outside, as it gets really dark:-)
