We had a great week staying at this apartment in Reykjavik! It is well-located, making it easy to go out on tours or explore the city, and there’s a supermarket around the corner. The apartment was very clean. While the pictures in the listing show a sofa bed, now there is a comfortable regular bed, which was really nice. I recommend this place and would stay there again. It’s a great base for exploring Iceland!

The kitchen and dining area are too small

Good location on quiet street and available parking if you hire a car.

Very small so suitable for short breaks rather than a week which we had. Tnd shower kept blocking up, so needs clearing. As Reykjavik is very expensive you may want to eat in but there is no cooker or toaster so you are limited to what you can cook

Close to town, quiet, clean

Photos make it look much larger than it is. Very compact, not much room.

Great location. Quiet, close to downtown. Lovely outdoor space. Having a washer/dryer was great.

Kitchen was poorly equipped. The only cooking pots were a GIANT saucepan and a large frying pan (useless for cooking small amounts of food for one person), neither of which worked well with the induction cook top. Took *forever* just to boil a couple of eggs. I contacted the host, who said a small pot would be dropped off the next day, but that never happened. Since I was at that location for 6 nights, and had planned on cooking most of my own meals, this was a major minus for me. In addition, the only means of making coffee was a Nespresso machine, which meant the coffee I had already purchased was useless. (The online pictures of the place had shown a French press on the counter, so this was completely unexpected)
