Tucson Marriott University Park

The campus of the University of Arizona is only a block away, as are shops, restaurants, and bars. The Marriott staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming.

Although the valet parking was very efficient and convenient, it’s $25/day plus tips. Self parking option is right next door for $20.

Was there for business, very clean and nice hotel

The property is in an area that didn't look the safest, though a block down was University Drive with shops and restaurants that looked okay. The rooms are a bit odd, and a bit outdated. I have never stayed in a hotel room that didn't have carpet.

I’ve stayed here a few times and always love it! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating! Especially the front desk, Jason in the lounge and Maxx the bartender! Maxx is super funny with great jokes, very personable and fabulous customer! All the girls at the breakfast and coffee shop are also friendly and accommodating. The gym is great and so are the beds & pillows! No complaints at this hotel and highly recommend!

The property was nice however we were placed in a room on the 5th floor near staff supply closet. Noisy and lots of foot traffic.

Very friendly front desk staff. My only complaint was that I asked the multiple staff members if they could add some ice to the water dispensers and none of them would. Otherwise it was a great stay.

We did appreciate how convenient the location was. Shops around the area are walking distance.
