Good location and friendly staff

The location was perfect for walks on the beach and the night market. The staff were kind, helpful and accommodating. Simple but adequate breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. They even arranged a car and driver for the day on our request.

The place was nicely maintained. It was clean basic and we had the slide in the room. Bed was on the floor which was great cos we had a baby with us. There is a bicycle rental shop two doors away, you can rent bicycle and cycles along the coast which was nice. It was a designated cycling path so was safe to bring kids on the bicycle. Owner was also really helpful and nice.

It is not walking distance from the train station. So you had to either take the bus or taxi.

It was lovely and fresh, the bathroom was large with great amenities. The location was fantastic, right by the sea and round the corner from the night market. The owner was so friendly and informative. Sadly we were there during the largest earthquake in 25yrs and had to cut our stay short due to water being turned off and general safety concerns for our young family but the refund of the days not stayed were immediately given, no questions asked and bottled water and any support needed was provided. Will definitely return at a later date.

We were in this hotel when the April 2024 earthquake hit. Even before the earthquake occurred, the hotel staff were wonderful. They let us store our luggage, gave us maps, and helped us to book a driver to Taroko. We were in our room when the earthquake happened and were able to quickly evacuate. There was very little damage. Even though things were very hectic, the owner gave us directions on where to go in order to evacuate for possible tsunami. They also helped with making phone calls, Booking alternate hotels after and with transportation. The hotel staff helped us immeasurably during this whole experience, especially travelling with young children. Thank you so much. You will be in good hands with the great people here.

The room was great, but I did notice that the railings on the balcony (at least on 2nd floor) were very low, please consider fixing this for everyone's safety.
