Edge Of The Woods Motel

We arrived at 7:30 pm. I went to the office and nobody was there so I pressed the doorbell twice, then called the office number , pressed the doorbell a third time and then called a second time. As I was leaving somebody did come up to check me in. They had been called out to another room, which I can understand. Our room was aged but nice and clean. The only other issue we had was that the TV only used streaming and the internet service caused the shows we were watching to constantly buffer.

Nice to stay at a well kept, privately run (non-chain) motel. Gracious hosts and well kept property. No wonder it gets high ratings. Reasonably priced as well. We would stay there again!

I probably would not have stayed at "Edge of the Woods Motel" were it not for the positive reviews I found on Expedia when looking for a place to rest on very short notice. As indicated, my room was clean and tidy, everything worked well from the TV to the shower and coffee maker. WiFi was fast, too, which I appreciated. Overall, a good convenient place to stay in New Lisbon.

We chose this place based off the reviews for cleanliness and the reviews were right! Very clean and comfortable. You do hear some traffic but it really wasn't that bad. We'd definitely stay again.

Check-in was incredibly easy. The owner was very friendly and helpful with the necessities. This motel is so close to the interstate and made our commute to the bike trails very convenient.

This is a small mom and Pop motel minimal amenities right off the freeway so it’s noisy. Beds were comfortable. Nothing exceptionally good or bad just a place to sleep. That’s easy to get to near McDonald’s and a gas station.
