The location is great and the property seemed new. The location is ideal for relaxing with little noise except for the waves hitting the beach. It is remote, though, and there are only a couple of restaurants and some small grocery stores that you can walk to. If you want to go downtown, it's a drive, but only 10-15 minutes, unless you get stuck behind the annoying bicycles that clog the tiny twisty roads. One thing worth mentioning is the Expedia page says it comes with A/C and that is incorrect, However, Sintra weather is wonderful and it gets pretty chilly at night, so I did not mind.
