Góð staðsetning og stutt m.a. í Galdrasafnið / The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery & Witchcraft, Café Riis-restaurant, Hólmavíkurhöfn og Galdur brugghús. Skipulag Steinhússins er hlýlegt og smekklega útfært. Samskipti við starfsfólk afar persónuleg og góð.

Uncovered window in shower room, very unorganized kitchen, incomplete/misleading directions to retrieve keys at self check-in, shared towels in kitchen and shared bathrooms.

The house has lot of character, well situated in the older part of Hólmavík and close to the main restaurant and the witchcraft museum. The beds are comfortable and all basic facilities in place for a short or extended stay.

As we rented the whole house for a group of adults, it was surprising to discover that the small tables in the kitchen are fixed to the wall. We could therefore not sit together and enjoy breakfast or dinner together. Also, the information sent before arrival and for check-out was aimed at guests staying at Höfðagata, which caused some unecessary confusion.
