"Charming p lace to slow down and refresh"

Accommodation was very comfortable with lovely decor. Clearly alot of thought has been put in to making Casa Relogio de Sol a home away from home. Pool area was perfect for relaxing and reading a book. Carla was an exceptional host and couldnt do enough to help, nothing was a problem. And breakfasts were a treat and savoured each morning.

Only challenge is if you dont have a car, you are reliant on taxis to get to Regua, which is only a five minute drive. The cost of each trip did start to add up.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Relógio do Sol. The hotel was spotless, beautifully decorated and maintained with great attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, with a delicious selection of fresh products. The owners are kind, welcoming and ready to help with useful information. As a small family-run hotel, it is personally managed by the owner couple. We truly appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel do anyone looking for a confortable and charming place to stay.

"Fantastisch!!"

Het was een zeer mooie en sfeervolle B&B. Nette kamer met koelkastje en koffie/thee faciliteiten. Leuke zitjes!! Gezellige ontbijtruimte met heel veel lekkere dingen die steeds worden aangevuld. Ligt heel dicht bij Regua waar je heerlijk kunt eten.

Het beviel prima maar voor ons zou het fijn zijn als er een paar schaduwplekken bij het zwembad zouden zijn.

"This is the perfect place to stay in the Douro Valley! Everything about it is outstanding."

Everything about this place inside and outside was outstanding. Apartment is very spacious as was the private outdoor deck. Other outdoor space so comfortable and inviting. We also loved the location. Quiet and out of the way but with easy access to the valley.

The Casa Relogio de Sol surpassed our expectations in all aspects. Carla was a very welcoming hostess, the place is beautiful and well located, the room comfortable and breakfast excellent. I totally recommend this place for people looking for a boutique hotel experience at the Vale do Douro.
