B&B Villa Filotea & Apartment

Not only has Cristina been wonderful and hospitable, but she's been accommodating during my time of need. During the trip, I became ill. Cristina helped me and my fiance with the pharmacy and arranged for the local doctor to see me as I needed medical attention. Aside from my health, the B&B is located 10 minutes by bus to the centre of Desenzano, within walking distance of the beach. If you want to get to Verona, there's a train station in Desenzano within a bus ride. If you want to travel to other parts of the lake, you can use the boats in Desenzano at a reasonable price. There are a few restaurants and a supermarket near the B&B. I recommend visiting Desenzano and Sirmione! We stayed in the Strawberry room, which was spacious for both of us and equipped with a kitchen and balcony. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay before the illness struck. To Cristina, thank you for having us and everything you've done!

I would probably recommend renting a car as you would have to walk 25 minutes to Desenzano and more for any other destination in Lake Garda. Otherwise, you can use a local taxi but can cost quite if you use it a lot. The transportation in Lake Garda isn't frequent and doesn't operate after a certain time in the evening. Our reservation didn't come with breakfast as we thought it would come with it.

A wonderful B&B set in a lovely villa and hosted by the very hospitable and kind Christina, who was extremely helpful ringing pharmacy and driving me there when I had a problem with lost medication. Very clean and comfortable with kitchen facilities available. Location is close to the lake, about 25 mins walking to centre of Desenzano, by the lakeside, which is a beautiful walk , but there is a supermarket and restaurants close by.

Nothing was excellent

It was a lovely quiet location, not too far from Lake Garda and nothing was too much trouble for Cristina, who even gave us a lift to the station early in the morning when we were leaving, as the local taxis were not too reliable.

Great place, quiet location. Cristina was very helpful with every little thing we asked for. Nice breakfast, served at your preferred time to your room, and we also had a garden-facing balcony to have our breakfast there.

The villa is located in a beautiful and quiet area, within a 10 minutes walk from the beach. Our room was very clean and well equiped. Christina, the owner, is a wonderful hostess, always willing to help.

I would add vegetables to breakfast.

Would be nice to have some basic ingredients in the kitchenette, such as salt, pepper, oil. Apart from that everything was great
