Great attention to detail, friendly hosts and traditional hoppers cooked for breakfast

Location in Galle fort very close to the ramparts. Funny decoration. Great breakfast. Friendly family business.

A lot of stairs and no lift. the stairs to the second floor rooms are actually really steep bordering on dangerous. The room doors are difficult to close. We had to request towels for the bathroom, there were none.

Galleの旧市街、海も街並みも見所の真ん中で、選んでよかったです。部屋はレトロだと思えば楽しめました。建具の鍵など使い慣れるのに時間がかかります。 水圧もよく熱いお湯が出ました。

初めに担当してくれた女性のスタッフは疲れてついたばかりなのに、次の日の車の手配はしたかとか食事の時間はとか、焦らせたうえに、お支払いのお釣りは持ってこないので、後でかと思うと帰ってしまい次の日もこなかった。チップだと思えばいいのだが、、、だとしたら納得しないチップでした。 その他のスタッフは皆さんとてもよかったです。

We had a great stay at Dutch Wall in Galle Fort. The location is excellent, right inside the fort and within easy walking distance of the ramparts, restaurants, cafés, and all the main sights. The property has a lot of character and fits perfectly with the historic atmosphere of Galle Fort. Our room was clean and comfortable, and it was a nice place to relax after spending time exploring the area. Being able to step outside and wander through the streets of the fort, especially in the early morning and evening when things are quieter, was one of the highlights of staying here. Breakfast each morning was excellent. The table was filled with fresh fruit including papaya, watermelon and pineapple, along with fresh juice, coffee, toast and fried eggs. We were also served hoppers with a potato curry and a lentil curry, both of which were delicious and the potato curry in particular had a really nice spicy kick to it. The hosts were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and were happy to offer advice about places to visit and things to do around Galle. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Dutch Wall to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay inside Galle Fort.

Très belle résidence et accueil fort sympathique et agréable par les hôtes. Agréable chambre avec terrasse et vue partielle mer. Bon petit déjeuner préparé par nos hôtes. Le jour du départ, ils l'ont également préparé pour nous à 6h du matin.

La chambre est assez petite et trop sombre
