Cretan Berry Portou

- Location is close to anywhere: city center, beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. - Good value for the price. Facilities are basic but they’re sufficient in most cases. - Staff is helpful.

- The toilet is way too small. Not enough room for the legs. No place to hang the toilet paper. But this could be room specific. Other rooms might not have this issue. - There’s no proper table in the room. It may not be a big deal for most people who stay for vacation. But for me personally, I’d use my laptop to do some learning / work from time to time. I’d also use the table to eat take away food. - There’s no proper cupboard to store clothing, no secure deposit box to store valuables. - Cleaning is only done with the bare minimum, e.g. only the garbage is thrown out but the floor is hardly vacuumed or mopped, toilet is hardly cleaned, the coffee machine is dusty, etc. - There’s no proper place to hang the towel. This causes the towel to get damp all the time. It won’t ever dry properly. - In the evening, it’s noisy outside because youths are hanging out, playing, talking & laughing loudly.

Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος είναι ιδανική για όποιον θέλει να μείνει στο κέντρο και πάρα πολύ κοντά στο παλιό λιμάνι. Ευχαριστηθηκα το μπαλκονάκι στον πρώτο όροφο και το πολύ άνετο στρώμα. Η ιδιοκτήτρια είναι πάρα πολύ ευγενική και εξυπηρετική! Συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Δεν έχει ιδιαίτερη ηχομόνωση εσωτερικά του κτιρίου.

Μου έγινε αναβάθμιση δωματίου χωρις καμια χρέωση!!! Επίσης μου πρότειναν να μείνω όσο θέλω την επόμενη ημέρα, καθώς δεν υπήρχε κάποια άλλη κράτηση. Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική, 50 μέτρα από το παλιό λιμάνι και το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο και πλήρως ανακαινισμενο. Η υποδοχή της Γεωργίας με χαμόγελο και διάθεση για βοήθεια και εξυπηρέτηση. Συγχαρητήρια!!!

No breakfast was included but location was excellent. Nearby restaurants in Chania were easily walkable for breakfast. Our room was in a small, older house, which faced a quiet square off the main walkway to the harbor. We were able to walk to the bus station to go to beaches farther west.

The bathroom was very small with the wash basin aside the bed. There was very little space for setting up toiletries (toothbrush, razors, make-up or towels).
