Hotel Finna is at best a 2 star and totally overpriced at $225 USD. It was the worst accommodation we stayed at in our month long trip. We stayed at a dozen different places. The room was tiny and cramped. Bathroom was mini sized. And worst was the smelly shower curtain. No shampoo or conditioner provided. The hand soap was almost empty. The view of the harbor was the only nice thing about the room. No elevators. Although while we were preparing to lug the suitcase up the stairs, a young man came out to help. If you’re traveling from Westfjords to the North or South Coast, skip this town and this hotel. There’s really not much here.

Wie in Holmavik wil overnachten komt bij Finna Hotel terecht want er zijn geen andere hotels. Eigenlijk waren alleen de bedden goed. Het hotel is zwaar verouderd en niet onderhouden. Het stinkt er en alles is afgebrokkeld of kapot. Het ontbijt is slecht. Zeker voor de prijs die wij betaalden, ruim 200 euro. Verder was het wel stil en we hebben wel goed geslapen, dankzij de goede bedden.

Alles viel tegen. De recensies gaven nog een redelijk beeld, maar het was echt huilen met de pet op. We geven eigenlijk nooit een negatieve recensie. Mensen doen in het algemeen goed hun best. Maar deze twee dames waren totaal ongeinteresseerd. Maar wij waren dan ook de enige gasten.

Location was the only thing it really had going for it.

The staff were disinterested to say the least. One was hanging out with her boyfriend in the kitchen while we were having breakfast - made for a very awkward time. Breakfast was less than average. . Very small room. So many things that were just not right. There was a kettle in the room for coffee or tea but no cups. No bedside table/stand. The soap dispenser in the shower did not work. The whole place is very run down. The only bad hotel we’ve had on Iceland in our 10 days so far. Very disappointing.

El hotel necesita una reforma completa. Había humedades en la habitación. Ducha rota y con suciedad. Las puertas estaban rotas. El pasillo daba pena, era un desastre. Las chicas aunque agradables, no daban buena imagen en pijama y comiendo en la cocina mientras desayunábamos. La cafetera que estaba rota, en lugar de dar explicaciones para hacer que funcionara ya que "tenía truco" era mejor que lo hubiese hecho ella ya que era la que entendía la máquina. El precio caro, parecía un hostel.

Tolle Lage, alles sehr sauber.

Alles soweit gut, außer das im Zimmer ausgehangene WLAN-Passwort ist leider falsch;-)
