Location, size of unit and basic amenities

It was cold and windy in Split and having a heating unit mounted at the roof of the apartment made no sense whatsoever as the laws of physics continue to dictate that hot air rises. The TV only provided a few local channels and no English news, weather or entertainment.

The location was close to Diacletion's Palace, but away from the crowd and noise. It had a lovely outdoor seating area. The beds were very comfortable! We stayed at many other apartments where that was not the case. It was very clean. The owner was helpful in telling us how to get around the city and she gave great restaurant suggestions.

Some might think the shower was small. You did have to walk uphill a little, but we didn't mind.

We love staying here - in fact we stay here year after year because it's perfect. Delightful hosts, perfect location, easy for us) to get to, comfy beds, a few nice apartment amenities which means we self-cater breakfast and eat on the patio every morning because groceries are so close. This is a ritual we look forward to every year.

A great base to stay, centrally located and quiet. Fair value - balanced price for the room amenities.

If we return to Split we would stay here again. Very comfortable, very friendly host - Nevenka, and good safe location. We will recommend to our friends.
