Callestock Courtyard

Very quiet, but not far from major attractions. Our host Liz was so gentle and informed us well about which pubs were the best to watch football! At arrival we were spoilt by a very good cream tea from Liz, many thanks for everything Liz!

Some noise from the people above us, but no problem for us.

We liked the peaceful location from which it was easy to access the nearby town of Truro and many different places of interest. Most of all our hosts Liz and Nick are delightful and most helpful.

The access to Wheal Anna is by a flight of uneven steps. There is a handrail. It was only difficult for us as we are elderly. It wouldn't be a problem for most people. It certainly didnt spoil our stay.

Thank you so much Liz for welcoming us in your lovely cottages. We really appreciated the farm visit as well as the great recommendations all over Cornwall. The accommodation is perfectly placed to visit Cornwall, well equipped and very welcoming. We definitely recommend staying at Liz's cottages !

Nothing really.

Wir haben uns hier so wohl gefühlt, dass wir spontan eine zweite Urlaubswoche dazugebucht haben. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, trotzdem gelangt man schnell auf die Hauptstrasse. Truro und Newquay erreicht man nach 10-15 Minuten, St. Austell, St.Ives und Penzance in 30 Minuten, Lizard und Tintagel in ca. 1 Stunde - wunderbar zentral um Cornwall von hier aus zu erkunden. Liz und ihre Familie haben uns sehr herzlich (mit selbst gemachten Scones und Cream Tea) empfangen und haben es an nichts fehlen lassen. Die Einrichtung war gemütlich und modern, alles war sehr sauber und die Appartments riesig. Die Whirlpool- Badewanne war der Hit. Es gibt sogar eine Ladestation für E-Autos.

Im Schlafzimmer von Wheal Anna bekommt man leider bei geöffnetem Fenster Geräusch und Geruch der Heizung vom Nachbarappartment mit.

Great location close to all amenities

Such a lovely spacious (but still cosy) apartment. Extra bonus having a whirlpool bath. Also it was in such a beautiful, peaceful area.

There was nothing we didn’t like

It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners had thought of everything. We could park our car outside the property and they had a barn full of pool, table tennis and darts to keep us entertained. The property was closed to lots of beaches and shops.

Nothing.

Everything! Very roomy, equipped with everything you might possibly need, super spacious bathroom we would gladly swap with our ensuite at home 😀, super nice hosts!

There’s nothing anyone could fault!
