This was the perfect spot for our girls trip getaway! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for charm, comfort, a peaceful setting, meticulous gardens and the friendliest hostess Darlene serving up a delicious breakfast and more, you’ve found it! LLR has thought of everything, the decor and thoughtful touches are lovely in this Spanish hacienda meets Equestrian ranch complete with carrots to feed the resident horses. They are conveniently located just minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo with easy access to restaurants and shops. If wineries are on your to do list they are close by too. LLR even has their own wine. Only regret, we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you, Darlene for your hospitality. Looking forward to the next visit.

Unbelievably beautiful grounds & location. You will not find a more gorgeous setting. The ranch is literally minutes from downtown SLO but it feels like it's secluded. I could retire to a place like this.

Technicalities & nothing that would prevent me from revisiting. No television in the room BUT they provide you a tablet to watch shows. Not the most convenient or expected thing but, we didn't go there to watch television. Not a fan of the bathroom to bedroom wall separation. You'll know when you get there. And lastly, the air conditioning (mini split) is in the bathroom. Not an ideal location. These are just things I notice. I'm a general contractor. So, yeah, a bit picky. Again, NOTHING that would prevent me from coming back. I absolutely loved this place. They have horses you can feed. A duck pond with all kinds of ducks & geese & they have EMUS of all things as well.

The variety at breakfast was very nice. Fresh fruit and yogurt, an assortment of and cheeses, hot frittata and French press coffee . Very satisfying and beautifully displayed in the guest lounge.

The only improvement I would suggest is to have a half and half or cream selection in the guest rooms. Cream for your coffee is available at breakfast but we are early risers.

Check-in and check-out super easy. Darlene was taking care of everything perfectly! I very much enjoyed my time at La Lomita Ranch. Thank you so much for the hospitality and great time.
