Hooks Hideaway Motel

We arrived late but welcomed and settled in quickly.

This "motel" is actually a double wide trailer at the edge of a construction zone. No outside windows. The window in the room faces onto the interior hallway. No food, not even vending machines. The electric heater seemed to be more decorative than functional. We only lasted an hour before checking out and driving up to Canada to find a decent hotel.

Read a bad review, still booked… went to hotel and was NOT impressed. They are refusing a refund!

Poor cell service and wifi connection was not dependable

Lodging can be difficult to find east of Glacier National Park. We decided to try Hooks Hideaway for a night on the way from Glacier to Waterton National Park. The July weather was very warm, and the room had no AC but just a fan. It was barely sufficient to keep the room cool enough. Be sure to bring your own food, because you can't count on the restaurant to be open. The room had a mini-fridge with a tiny freezer. No ice is available. The room was a decent size, but the bathroom was tiny with absolutely no counter space. The shower head was good, but the water temperature varied somewhat. The bed was comfortable but squeaked when getting in or out of it. The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors. I don't think we'll return unless we're desperate for a place to stay.

This place was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. There aren’t any windows to the outside which we didn’t love, the window looked out into the hallway. But there’s not much to choose from in this area and so it worked just fine for a night. Wouldn’t love to have to stay here for more than just sleeping (no TV, although we never watch TV, but it was still odd).

The location is close to the main road. Property is neat, new, and clean. The area is really quiet, too quiet. Very good for overnight stay.

No hair dryer seems not common

Economical for the area. Small sink for bathroom and not much room to put any bathroom supplies.
