Guest Inn Alfama Apartments

I liked the location in the old district of Lisbon. The neighbourhood has a very charming atmosphere. The apartment is not very high up. I was afraid we would have to climb the streets for a long time, but that wasn’t the case. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped.

We arrived a few hours after the check-in time, so I was sure the apartment would be empty and ready. I got scared because there was a man there who seemed to be finishing the cleaning, and I wasn’t expecting that. Besides, he had no idea who we were and seemed very surprised that we were entering the apartment. It was strange. The apartment is only suitable for people who sleep very deeply or go to bed very late, because the area is very noisy. There is a restaurant opposite where a woman sings every evening, and you can also hear people outside, rubbish collectors, and so on. You should keep in mind that the apartment is basically one large open space. There are supposedly two bedrooms, but neither of them is fully closed off. Everything is kind of connected, so if someone wants privacy, they definitely won’t have much of it.

Good location/area .. v central & authentic. A nice light roomy apartment. Excellent friendly support from the hosts.

The lockbox functionality was a bit tricky .. seemed inconsistent. Perhaps it was just me.

Excellent location, smallish but everything you need apartment in the middle of Alfama, Recommend the restuarant opposite for a Fado experience along with good food

Malý apartmán v historickom centre mesta presne splnil očakávania. Veľmi oceňujeme čistotu, z dôvodu skoršieho check-inu sme mali ešte jemne vlhký gauč po tepovaní (pre nás skvelé znamenie dôkladného čistenia celého apartmánu) Po príchode nám chýbala posteľná bielizeň a uteráky pre tretieho hosťa, vďaka skvelej komunikácii s ubytovateľom sme do hodiny mali všetku chýbajúcu bielizeň.

Veľmi počuť hluk z ulice, vždy po 22 hodine však zostalo ticho.

Very good position and comfortable bed

The fridge was quite noisy, and the setup was a bit confusing cause we found detergent tabs for a dishwasher and washing machine that weren't there, yet a nice coffee machine with no capsules. A bit of a contradiction

Die Lage ist fantastisch! Die Absprachen hat wunderbar geklappt und die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Der Preis war unschlagbar.

Das schlimmste war das enge Treppenhaus ich bin ein durchtrennierter Mann und hatte dennoch Probleme unsere großen aber auch kleine Koffer in die Wohnung zu bekommen. Außerdem war das obere Bett entweder nicht frisch bezogen oder nach dem Waschen blieben einige Haare hängen. Das Badezimmer hat streng gerochen und es gab kaum Ablage Flächen für unsere Kleidung. Die Wohnung ist für maximal drei Personen geeignet.
