Graça Trendy Flat

Our stay in this apartment was unfortunately not as smooth as we had hoped. While the apartment itself is nice, it feels somewhat neglected. One of the biggest issues was the strong smell of sewage coming from the toilets, which drifted into the bedrooms, making it quite unpleasant. The main bedroom’s curtains didn’t function meaning it was bright early in the morning. Additionally, upon arrival, we were informed that the dining room blinds were broken. While they did offer to send someone to fix them, we opted to live with it. Finding the apartment was also more complicated than expected, as the address on Google didn’t match the one provided, making check-in less smooth. The heat system goes on but doesn’t heat the apartment. Our clothes did not dry as the apartment didn’t have heat or airflow.

Small details added to the sense of the place being unloved—such as a nearly empty bottle of washing liquid left for guests. We also had an issue with the key, which we reported as an emergency, but it wasn’t addressed with any urgency.

Flat was very clean. Staff was helpful regarding additional request (baby cot, baby chair). Living room was nice and cozy.

The noise - everything was super noisy (floors, boiler, neighbours, bed). The bed was really noisy so every move could wake the whole apartment. Also really uncomfortable. There was only one plug for three appliances in the kitchen, it was nuisance to change it all the time.

Modern, clean, lots of space, has all the facilities you need - kitchen/washing machine/2 bathrooms. Ideal for the 5 of us.

It was terrible because when we got there, between navigating a delayed flight and finding our way to the apartment with luggage, the host could only be there at specific times. We got there in the rain and had to wait in a dark lobby with all our luggage until the host was able to show up. He's a nice chap, and quite friendly as a human being, but that experience was the beginning of the terrible next two days. The boiler broke after one person had a shower, and I called and chased after being promised that an engineer would come that night. I waited all night, and the rest of the family had a cold shower. The next day was no different: two consecutive days with no running hot water and cold showers left a bitter taste in my mouth and ruined what would have been a great family holiday - first time in Portugal. The boiler was eventually fixed on the third day without notifying us. The comms and the experience marred the holiday for the family.

The apartment is just like the pictures. Charming property in a very old building. The heating system works well especially since the building is old and we were there in January.

Very difficult to find the property. The address did not match up directly with Google Maps. We had to walk around the streets for a long time before we found the building. The host representative was not outside the building to meet us. The main building door is very old and the lock is very wonky. The smell coming from the bathrooms would come and go. Booking.com told me it was due to the rain we had had whilst there (old drainage systems etc), however, 24 hours of dry weather later the drainage system still smelled even the day we checked out. The area itself is very shabby and whilst it is extremely hilly there are no views from the apartment. The apartment location is too far out from the city center. Trams are always packed so best to get Uber.

Spacious, look excatly like the photos. The owner was very nice and welcoming. He gave us a list of recommended restaurants upon arrival. There is a fully equiped kitchen and dining area, where you can make breakfast and seafood. Price is decent for 3 bedrooms in the area.

The location is on top of the hills, it's a fitness challenge to get home by walking. However, the place is accessible to subway (around 10 min walk downhill to Intendente Station) or Bolt (around €3-5 one way). There was someone came in our apartment to fix the aircond while we were not home, due to miscommunication, but they did apologize after before we noticed it.

This is a fully equipped flat with all you need. Washing machine and dishwasher are also there which is so important while traveling with kids. Location is very good in the historical part of Lisbon and with the stop of 28th tram near the property. Really liked our stay.

We had to checkout almost at deadline, at 11AM and cleaning lady already was waiting for us and almost pushed wife and kids from the flat (while I went for a car). We understand that it is most likely not the issue with apartment but just take a note. And this almost didn't affect our impression
