Hotel Pratap Bhawan

Rooftop was stunning, they have a massage parlour inside too. Comfy room with really cute French windows.

We liked our three bed room with the nice little nook facing the street. It was clean, simple and spacious. The location is central, but can’t be accessed by car. You have to park the car outside the city center and take a tuktuk to reach the hotel. The restaurant „Charcoal“ on top of the hotel serves very good food throughout the day and offers amazing views over Udaipur and the lake. The hotel staff was kind and helpful, they organized a transfer to the airport for us.

Not the fault of the hotel but there were several power outages which was a bit annoying in the evenings. Like in many hotels in India the windows and doors are far from soundproof, so equip yourself with earplugs to avoid being waken up by howling dogs, other guests and honking tuktuks. At night it got quite chilly and we had to ask for additional blankets, as we only got provided with thin sheets.

Great location, very large room with desk and chairs, large bathroom, kettle with tea/coffee, clean and quiet. Really good quality over price ratio. Breakfast on the rooftop is great as well (the indian chai is really tasty there !). A very nice place to stay in Udaipur.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. This is an incredible place: clean, great location, good food, excellent service. The owner made us feel like family, we really appreciate their warmth - highly recommended!

The hotel was extremely noisy, with loud parties and traffic noise throughout the night.uncomfortable accommodations, and overall lack of value for the price paid, leaving the guest feeling significantly dissatisfied and likely to discourage others from staying there. The room had outdated decor and was in need of a major renovation.The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to work or stream content." Personal suggestion not to book that hotel👎

Their tv was not in a working condition, the surrounding area was very noisy , no proper cafe service for breakfast

Very nice and comfortable hotel in the centre of Udaipur. Kind staff and excellent location. Nice rooftop restaurant with international and indian dishes and amazing lake view.

No elevator to the rooms. We had a few power outages in the neighborhood during our 2-day stay.

Great location, very clean and modern bathroom. Helpfull staff (asked additional blanket which was brought to our room immediately). Very good restaurant at the rooftop.

There can be some street noise, which is not the hotels fault, just standard in India, suggest you bring earplugs
