The employees were so excellent, nothing but respect and friendliness came from them but I’m not just talking about those behind the check in desk. I’m talking about the cooks and cleaning crew as well. The check, breakfast and comfort was on point!!

The first thing I didn’t like is that I had to change rooms because the first one was molded. Soon as we walked in the room the scent hit our nose therefore I started checking vents, the bathroom vent was full of black mold. We were giving another room, the vent wasn’t as molded but it was there. The 2nd thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t any smart TVs, and the decor needs to be changed. The room looks exactly the same when I stayed at this hotel before I shipped out for basic trading back in 2012

1 Star – Unacceptable conditions and unresolved refund issue I stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Baymeadows from 06/17/2025 to 06/18/2025. This was supposed to be a week-long stay, but I checked out after one night due to how unacceptable the room conditions were. The first room we were given was clearly not ready for guests and appeared to be under repair. There was used toilet paper on the bed and pillow area, debris scattered throughout the room, and it was obvious the same rag had been used to clean both the bathroom and furniture surfaces. None of the lamps worked. I have photos documenting everything. I calmly went to the front desk and asked to switch rooms. The staff said they were unaware the room was under maintenance and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was also dirty, and again, the lamps didn’t work. At that point, I decided to leave after one night and stay at a different Hilton property. Before leaving, I was told by the front desk that I would be refunded for the unused nights and that my 102,000 Hilton Honors points used for the stay would be returned. While they did refund the one night, they did not return the 102,000 points. I contacted Hilton corporate, and during a three-way call with the hotel manager, I was told there was “no way” the hotel would have kept that many points. However, I have clear documentation and receipts showing that the points were taken and not returned, and I will be attaching those to this review. I was also told I would be contacted to resolve this issue, but I never received any follow-up. Between the unacceptable cleanliness issues, the failure to return a significant number of points after promising to do so, and the lack of follow-through, this experience was extremely disappointing and far below what I expect from a Hilton-branded property. I am asking the hotel to publicly address this and correct the missing 102,000 points. If not resolved, I will continue escalating this through Hilton Honors and corporate channels until it is.

Breakfast was nice, and the rooms were comfortable. I like also like when they send text messages to see how things are going.

The noise that the children were making at night was running back and forth through the hallways. Also, the car racing on the street makes a loud noise.

The property was conveniently located.

The description of the room was inaccurate. The description was “Two Bedroom suite” which was what I needed. I know most Embassy Suites do not have “two bedrooms” so I called the hotel directly to confirm and I was assured that I had two bedrooms rooms and not one bedroom and a living room however, that is EXACTLY what the room was and it was overpriced! The staff was very passive and nonchalant about the inconvenience. Although he was rude, the manager did offer to refund my booking, however at that point, my back up reservation for an ACTUAL two bedroom suite elsewhere was no longer available. I must say, there was one young lady at the reception desk who was very courteous and helpful and I regret not getting her name.
