The location and shops outside were good.

Violent people and skinheads were everywhere in the hostel. Also, knife threats, poor facilities, and the constant threat of being punched or smashed made this a poor experience and out after just one day. A staff member at reception tried crime on with me, trying to keep my Kiwibank card or my Drivers' License to "use your card for a payment .... the item is available later."

Ostello nel centro di Auckland dotato di camere private con servizi in comune. Due cucine spaziose e molto ben dotate. Molto pulito.

La camera era un po' fredda

Good location, as in its close to the main city centre. The bed itself was comfy enough. Bathroom was clean with a nice big shower.

Kitchen was disgusting tbh, I don’t think it gets deep cleaned, and I wouldn’t use it. It’s not necessarily the hostel’s fault, people just never learned how to be clean, but when it is in such a state I do think that someone has to clean it and unfortunately if the guests aren’t doing it the hostel should at least attempt to keep it clean. I watched another guest wash raw chicken in the sink, cut it, and then wipe his hands on the shared dish towel and walk about the room touching various things, and if the kitchen isn’t getting deep cleaned regularly you can only imagine the health hazards that are growing in there. All the surfaces were sticky, the fridge smelled bad, there were dirty dishes stacked in the sink. Gross.

Eigentlich nichts ausser die Lage

Küche und Küchenutensilien alt und sehr ungepflegt. Überrall Taschen mit Esswaren, glaube nicht das es für diese wenige Leute die un dieser Zeit dort waren gehörten. Konnte mich nicht vorstellen dort etwas zu kochen. Zimmer sehr rudimentär und Menschen die dort lebten und alle ihre Sachen verstreuten.
