RUWINSONS Canal Garden

We wanted to stay in the center of Anuradhapura, but we are so glad we went for Ruwinsons. The price/quality of the stay is unbeatable. The house is gorgeous and the rooms are very spacious with everything you need. The breakfasts are amazing and the garden outside is very pleasant. The distance from Anuradhapura is absolutely not an issue, as there are regular buses to the city centre that only take 15 min. But what absolutely makes the place is the host Palitah. He's one of the kindest and most caring people we met in Sri Lanka. He took us everywhere we wanted to go, as a tourist licensed driver, and arranged our trip to Wilpattu National Park, which was incredible. We cannot recommend this place enough. Any downsides you might see because of the location are absolutely compensated by the comfort of the place and the kindness of Palitah!

The location is convenient, just a quick 20-minute drive to Anuradhapura Pooja town. The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained.

Cheap price for a room that is enough for a night or 2. Big bed. The owner was very kind, only smiles :-)

We did not get any warm water out of the shower. System seemed to be broken. Noticeably more insects than other places.

- better serve Lunch and Dinner, If possible. But there are good restaurants near by.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious.

The toilet was not that clean. Lot of insects in the toilet.
