Rossa Palma

This is one of my favourite hostels ever, and my second time at this new location. The pool and bar area are super nice but the people are what make it really special. Karen, Kevin, Felipe and Juanda at reception are always so helpful and friendly, the dance teachers are super professional (Sofia, Vanessa, Natalia, Yiyi and Jesus - te amo) and the activities with Karin are well organised and a good intro to Cali - Mulato Cabaret is my favourite. Also Camila and Cat at the bar. You are all wonderful and I'll be back for sure

The floorboards in the female dorm make everything shake so if you're a light sleeper, go for a different room!

The facility is fresh, & quite nice. The communal space has lots of sitting zones, a bar & 1 restaurant, along with a nice pool. The room had plenty of lockable storage space for larger bags. The shower was spacious & clean. The hostel location was good. Beds are comfortable, with privacy curtains. Hostel has lots of salsa related activities, people, & around the clock energy. There's a cozy little bar a few doors down, & an amazing little breakfast spot across the street.

I've stayed in likely hundreds of hostels over the last 3yrs - this is borderline a salsa focused tourist resort than a hostel. It's got lots of salsa related activities, lots of people & 24hr energy. It's mostly vacationing tourist, not travelers. Don't do the Party Bus/Pub Crawl! You can join for free until the bus departs at midnight. They over pack it with people beyond 'standing room only' - people hang their heads out for air. THE BUS LEFT ME ON THE SIDE OF A SEEDY ROAD AT 1AM AFTER A RUSHED BATHROOM BREAK! After Ubering back to the hostel the bus leader begged me to walk to the next club to join & offered a full refund. Upon accepting his refund he aggressively tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my fault 'because I was the only one it happened to'. They held a huge nightclub salsa party Sat night until 2AM, steps from the room. The general public was allowed in, & some came into the room to use the bathroom. Beer prices doubled from $7,000cop to $16,000cop. The dancefloor is literally 4-5 paces from the room entrance. The hostel nickels & dimes on everything! $4,000cop for a cup of coffee, $10,000 for coffee & a bowl of cereal. Though it's served at the bar, with payment terminals right there, you're required to walk all the way to reception to make payment. At checkin they give a punch card to 3 affiliate local businesses that will give you 5% discount. Upon purchasing something at all 3 you'll be granted a 10% discount at the bar! Poor hospitality. Upon arriving 15mins before checkin the reception staff told me to wait (which is fine), but when I could finally check-in all they did was send me a link to a 3rd party data collection site to spend the next 20-25mins inputting personal data. None of the wait had anything to do with whether a bed was ready or not. Facilities: -Wifi is 13mbps -Nightclub just steps from room entrance (see photo) -No room door locks.

La ubicacion es bastante buena, los precios son razonables , El sitio es limpio.

Nada en particular pero diria que es mas bien para un publico joven.. si tienes mas de 35 igual te sientes un poco desplazado.. La piscina se ve mas grande en las fotos y se llena enseguida

Many activities, nice common area to hang out. didn’t try the pool but it looked nice!

The kitchen and its utilities was not very clean. It is not always the fault of the hostel since guests are the ones supposed to clean after them selfs.

The staff is very professional I especially want to thank Juanda who has been amazing and very helpful. The hostel is very nice and the pool is clean.

At night around 3 or 4 am there is often noise of people talking in the garden.
