Trapezaki Garden Villas

Far enough away to be super peaceful but under 20min to Island capital with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. Amanda was very knowledgeable about the island with great communication and amazing hospitality.

We are in love with Trapezaki Garden Villas and have already booked a longer stay for next summer. Our Villa was spotless and very well appointed. Included were pool towels, espresso pot and a juicer. Gorgeous view of the sea and Zakynthos from above. The owner Amanda was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us many useful tips about the island. She invited us to pick vegetables from her garden and lemons from the tree. We helped ourselves to eggplant, cucumber, basil, zucchini, peppers, and lemons. She also gave us a dozen eggs from her chickens. Additionally she had stocked our refrigerator with water, milk, juice and wine! The pool was so clean and refreshing. We could easily walk or drive to a small store that had everything. We didn’t expect Kefalonia to be as mountainous as it is. Just breathtaking. We were only there 3 days, but loved all of the places we went, including Myrtos Beach, Assos, Argostoli, Mt Ainos, and Lourdata Beach.

We loved everything about this villa & surroundings. Good location 15 minutes from the airport with a well stocked mini market and 4 tavernas within walking distance. Although there are 10 villas on site each one is completely private, not overlooked with fantastic views of the sea and mountain. The villas are surrounded with pretty flowers and trees, birds and peace & quiet. The resident cats are delightful and we enjoyed their visits to our villa. Amanda and her husband are excellent hosts, friendly and informative. We were encouraged to pick produce from their veggie garden and we're given fresh eggs from their chickens. Exploring the beautiful island was easy with a car and we always had the thought of returning to the serenity of the villa and pool at the end of a sightseeing day. We didn't want to leave and would highly recommend this wonderful place.

Nothing to dislike We found the beds rather hard but that's just personal preference for softer beds

The views and the outside pool area are excellent. Good quality patio furniture and well thought out to cater for all your outdoor needs. Spectacular views across to Zakynthos and Mount Ainos to the back and side. Inside the villa is a good sized open plan living area and two double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. All in all we felt all our accommodation needs were exceeded.

Genuinely can’t think of anything.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa surrounded by olive trees, vines and gardens. It was lovely, comfortable and spacious with a great outdoor area with infinity pool and gorgeous sea view. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Amanda was very helpful and friendly from before we arrived and throughout our stay. She gave us home-grown olive oil and we were welcome to pick veggies from the vegetable garden. We also got fresh eggs from the hens. By car, the villas have easy access to/from the airport and Argostoli, and is surrounded by some very good restaurants that are only a short walk or drive away. We would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Nothing; everything was perfect. If I had to pick on something, I found the bed quite firm, but my husband found it comfortable.

Jasmine is one of several villas, nicely spaced, and not overlooked from each other. They are located on an easily accessible slight hill, but afford beautiful surrounding views. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from any of the garden villas. Amanda, the owner, is very friendly and always on hand with helpful advise and information. The villa was clean, with modern furnishings, and comfortable beds.

Outside space was phenomenal. Plenty of seating, loungers and the pool was a very good size. The Villa was a lovely size for 4. 2 good sized bedrooms, eating area in and outside. 2 bathrooms. So the kids had their own.

Nothing. Everything about the property suited our needs very well.

Amanda’s place and hospitality are truly extraordinary. This is a group of villas based within an estate on the side of a hill overlooking the Ionian sea on the south of Kefalonia. The villas are surrounded by olive trees, grapes, flowers and the sounds of nature. The whole set up is run by a marvellous simplicity which takes away all the stress and tiredness of everyday life. Amanda welcomed us like a good old friend we hadn’t seen for a while. She brought as her home made wine, eggs, oregano and invited us to cut tomato and peppers from their garden. The area is lovely and everything one needs is within reach. Thank you so much Amanda for the lovely holiday!! We would love to visit again!
