Die Parkplatzsituation beim Hotel ist etwas schwierig.

Bathrooms were a little basic in style given the standards of the place, but that’s a really minor detail

Tastefully renovated period property in a great central location in Horta town. We had Room 200 The Aviators, a lovely bright, large room with triple windows facing the marina and Mt Pico (when visible, which it was on our last day). Big bed, seating area, high ceilings, modern bathroom fittings, very clean. Good buffet breakfast included. Excellent entradas in the restaurant with nicely timed delivery of each dish by the friendly waitress.

Hotel description said ‘free parking’, however the hotel has no car park or drop-off area and parking spaces in Horta can be hard to get, depending on time of day and season. We had an 11 minute walk one day and a 5 minute walk the next, in May.

Un beau bâtiment rénové qui accueille au 3e et dernier étage un hostel avec des chambres en dortoir de qualité, un emplacement central au dessus de la marina, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le port, un personnel très agréable, la possibilité d un petit déjeuner buffet très bon et complet

Very friendly staff who took the time to confirm a check in time error I submitted for 2am not 2pm. Great sushi in their restaurant. Extremely clean.

Love hate relationship with the compact slow elevator but thankful for such an old grand building it was even there.

Staff gentilissimo e molto premuroso, struttura davvero elegante e pregna di storia, posizione fantastica, colazione top. Consigliatissimo. Grazie a Isabelle ed allo staff per l'ospitalità. Davvero eccezionali.
