DAR MILOUDA RCIF

Stayed here for 10 days, worked remote. Wifi was great, location right in the old medina, a 20 minute walk from the blue gate. The best mint tea I had, delicious breakfast. Mousa and Ahmed are the kindest persons and made me feel very welcome. I would definitly stay here again and again.

Breakfast was incredible, the gentleness of Ahmed in taking care of us was exceptional and we were really happy overall with our stay. I would recommend it because of the hostel vibes and home-feeling that the owner Moussa is able to create. There is also a terrace which overlooks the roofs of Fes and the ambience is cozy. Beds are comfortable and the wifi works good. There is also the possibility to make laundries. Ahmed escorted us to the restaurant and the pick up points of our excursions. We could not ask for a better service!

The bathroom was a bit small, you should also push the water down the drain in the shower. The general level of cleanness is not great, including the bed sheets. For those allergic to cats, please keep in mind that they live on the streets and on rooftops, as they like, also at Dar Milouda.

Beautiful Courtyard and very nice roof top. The host is very kind, they came and pick us up from the main street and walked us the to the restaurant the day we got arrived, which is extremely helpful and reassuring as we are just getting to learn about the streets of maze in Fez. We had really great conversations with the host and learnt a lot about the local culture.

nothing. one should adjust their expectations as this is part of the medina/ old town.

The owner and his brother go above and behind to make sure you have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay, we were really blown away by their hospitality. The Riad is a short walk away from the main Medina, so it’s a perfect location. They make sure you are well fed with a delicious Moroccan breakfast, so what’s not to love!

The best part of staying at this riad was interacting with Moussa and his family. They are incredible hosts. I was traveling solo, and they arranged my pick up at the train station, as well as assisted me with taxi service around the city and back to the train station. They provided many suggestions regarding things to see and do around the city, as well as provided advice regarding avoiding scams. My room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts I had were abundant and delicious.

Moussa and Ahmed were very friendly and helpful all the time. We felt at home. They suggested us a restaurant and It was good. They also took us to the hammam and It was a really great experience.. The breakfast was good and generous. The Riad Is so nice and has a terrace with a great view of the Medina. Thank you Moussa and Ahmed, if we come back to Fes, we know where to stay!

Moussa and Ahmed were very gentle and helpful all the time. We felt confortable and safe in their house. The breakfast was super more than enough to start a long day getting to know the Medina in Fès. The terrace had a great view and an scape from the caothic and stressful Medina.

Only one small thing we were surprised about, and it was that the evening we arrived we were brought to a very touristic restaurant instead of a local place to eat as we asked for.

Seems very ancient. Makes you wonder about all the people that lived there before you, probably going back hundreds or even more years. Their life style was very different than ours and that was nice to experience. The staff was wonderful. Very hospitable, kind and generous. They did their absolute best to make us feel comfortable.

The rooms were very small. Little walking space. Everything including the furniture is very old. The floor could use a deep cleaning. The whole place needs renovation while still maintaining that ancient authentic feel. The stairs are very high. Each step is at least one and a half steps high. We needed a police officer to help us find it. Its a maze down there, very narrow pathways. In the night it’s impossible to find.
