Petra Boutique Hotel

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location right next to the main entrance to Petra. The hotel has warm and friendly staff with large, clean modern and comfortable rooms. It has a fabulous breakfast buffet with great coffee and made to order pancakes and omelettes in a bright dining room. Highly recommended.

This was out first ever visit to Petra, Jordan's biggest tourist attraction, and the Petra Boutique Hotel (PBH) just made our tour unforgettable. We were extremely happy with warm welcome, spot clean and cozy rooms with friendly and hospitable staff. We now know where to stay at for our next visit to the “Rose City”. Thank you, PBH.

What we liked: - The location was good, only a 5-10 minute walk from the Petra visitor centre and main entrance. - The rooms were clean, and the cleaner was very kind. - They provided free soft drinks and water in the rooms. - Most of the receptionists were helpful and all were friendly. - The chef who made breakfast in the restaurant was really kind and friendly. What could be improved: - The reception played music at night time, which we could hear from our room. We had to call down both nights to ask them to turn it down. - There was a power cut one night. Each time the power came back on, all the lights in the room turned on, waking us up. We had to get up and turn all the lights off, only for them to come on again after the next power cut. I provided feedback to the receptionist, explaining that it’s really an issue if their electrical setup wakes up their guests. He mansplained, assuming I didn’t understand what an electricity cut was! - Some of the receptionists didn’t speak English well, and we couldn’t understand each other. - We were only provided with one face wash cloth in a double room. We asked the cleaner for more, but only received one other. We asked the reception, and didn’t receive any. The receptionist said he didn’t know which room we were in so hadn’t given them to us. It seems they need to improve their internal communication. - Quite common in Jordan, but the shisha smoking in the hotel restaurant travelled into the main eating area.

The location is excellent. 2 mins walk to the petra visitor's center. Rooms were very good and clean. Good restaurant with very hardworking chefs and waiters. The staff was very good and helpful especially the reservation manager Nabeeh. He was constantly in touch and helping with information since the moment we booked the hotel. He also helped with all the required information about Petra. I was confused about a few hotels in Petra but made my choice to stay here because of Nabeeh's constant and helpful communication throughout. Do talk to him if he's available at the hotel , he's the most helpful person there. I also want to highlight Yaser at the reception. Super helpful and cheerful guy. Both these people made our stay there incredibly wonderful.

It is a very special hotel and very clear and the stuff very kind specially Nabeeh he was very helpful and and the restaurant is very good.The hotel is very close to the visitor center Highly recommended If we vist Petra again we would stay here again

Great rooms. Loved the heat. Petra was very cold, but I was able to sleep well because there was heat.

The room was very nicely maintained. They did decorations to the room as we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. Nabeeh was extremely helpful and such a true gentleman, he helped us not only in petra but he gave us the best taxi guy who helped us from starting to the end of the trip, and he helped us and provided us the best stay in wadirum as well. He’s the best. The breakfast was super tasty and chef helped us alot. The view from the room is very calm and beautiful specially in the night. The location of the hotel is at best place, many restaurants are close to the hotel which are open till late and even after 12 which is very rare in that area. The visiting center is at walkable distance. Amenities in the room was too much. Overall 120/100
