Ekra Glacier Lagoon

Beautiful location! The views from the porch and room were stunning. Nice amenities and good communication with staff. Easy check in and warm room.

I found the linens on the bed to be less clean than I would have expected. Some permanent stains, dirt and hair. Staff addressed this concern and offered a complimentary breakfast. Due to our schedule, we could not accept this offer. Also, we cracked a window overnight to let in clean air and woke to many tiny gnats and blood on the sheets! Not sure if from bites or dead bugs. Either way, very gross.

For the price, the room is small, though this is known when you book. You can barely fit 2 big suitcases.

Quiet, clean, comfortable, nice view

There is no breakfast or a place to do breakfast. We booked a double room but allocated a triple(room 1) but managed to get that changed to a double. Rooms upstairs have a balcony (we were upstairs). Several rooms have no privacy as people walking by your window and glass door.

Lovely and renovated, it's a super spacious room and incredibly clean with comfortable beds. One of the bonuses was that the hot shower water didn't have the sulphur smell. The highlight of the accommodation is the stunning surroundings, and the waterfall behind the room. Also the complementary coffee is delicious!

Beautiful location, high-quality rooms and beds

La posizione, al di sotto di una cascata in mezzo alla natura islandese, toglie il fiato! Camera ampia e bagno bellissimo, apprezzatissima la doccia. Letti davvero molto comodi.

Il Ristorante convenzionato a 2 minuti di auto dalla struttura, è l’unica alternativa se si vuole mangiare fuori ed è molto costoso.

Tarif beaucoup trop élevé par rapport aux prestations Chambre avec toutes les fenêtres donnant sur le parking sans aucune intimité, obligé de fermer les rideaux pour être un peu tranquille sinon tous le monde peu vous voir dans votre lit !! Super au vu du prix de la chambre … De plus les rideaux soit disant opaque sont tellement bien pensé que le jour passe sur tout le pourtour de la fenêtre et comme en cette période il ne fait jamais nuit, résultat impossible de dormir dans une chambre totalement sombre.

No human contacts, no space for confortable armchair, no access to nordic spa (jacuzzi, sauna)

The location perched up high at had a fantastic view of a waterfall behind it, the Vatnajokull glacier from the room . It was also very quiet . Rooms spacious , quiet and very nice toiletries. Food at sister hotel Jokulsarlon was delicious. Would stay again
