The property is very tired and needs some TLC, on using the shower the first time the shower tray started to fill, on taking out the trap we found it to be clogged with hair !!! House keeping in the shower room especially needs to be far better. The small bed was very uncomfortable got very little sleep.

Staff were uninterested in customers needs. Woken by vibrating pipes. Window rotting needed replacing. View of a conservatory roof which was.full of junk. The parking on site is miniscule and soon taken up. No food being served, just Thurs to Sunday which meant we had to drive out for dinner and lost our parking space. Fire drill out of date and no plan laid out. Continental breakfast choice was just boxes of cereal. Juice and milk was self service, even for a pot of tea.Mattresses needed replacing as extremely worn.shower door didn't close properly leaving a gap so water damage to flooring.

Zeer aardig personeel, hartelijke ontvangst, comfortabele kamer.

De douche/badkamer was beetje gedateerd.

The room was light, airy and clean. We have stayed before so knew what to expect. Staff are really friendly and helpful and breakfast very tasty with good options.

To access the room you needed to walk through or past open storage rooms filled with stuff, which took the edge of the rest of the lovely stay. That's the only suggestion niggle though.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön, wir konnten bei offenem Fenster bestens schlafen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und auch das Abendessen und Frühstück im Hotel war ausgezeichnet.

The room was a wonderful size and the beds very comfy, food and staff far exceeded our expectations having read other reviews, a lovely large full size mirror in room. We were given a 20% voucher off for the pub and restaurant and the food was wonderful, Rib Eye Steak with massive onion rings, and a steak burger which was all cooked beautifully and served with wonderful hot tasty chips a pint of cider and a large wine all for £40 wonderful. Breakfast was excellent also wonderful avocado and poached eggs one day and a full English the other and the quality of the ingredients was wonderful

These are only suggestions and helpful feedback and not negatives about the stay as we would certainly stay at this hotel if we were visiting Seaton again. Shower cubicle could of been slightly bigger and the curtains didnt meet together in the middle and cover the whole window, it would of been great if the TV was also slightly larger as the room as plenty of space for it and it would of been great if it was a smart tv so we could of cast to it from our mobile. Also would of been handy to have a extension lead as the plug locations were not close enough to dry hair and see if the mirror whilst doing so.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, and in an excellent location
