The Villa Wrea Green

Fantastic property if you like character (non chain) hotels with great service from an attentive team. Food also very good. Lovely quiet location but close to motorways.

The Villa is a bit of an institution. It has been a restaurant and hotel since my childhood and I returned to stay there in a visit to friends. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. The room I had was comfortable and well stocked with refreshments. Breakfast was traditional and food cooked to order - none of the overcooked and limp looking buffet food you get elsewhere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I understand that the place is up for sale and I hope that any new owners will not turn it into a crazily expensive spa or similar that would not be in keeping with its personality.

Fantastic hotel staff are really friendly and helpful, food and service first class, hotels like this are very hard to find, very peaceful location and will definitely stay again we stayed 3 days it was great David Wise

There was no hot water in the room one of the mornings, but despite that it is a good hotel.

Lovley building freindly staff

Not what I expected. I booked last minute due to work. Nothing luxurious, very old dated and dirty room. Had to use wet wipes to clean the bathroom. Overly priced for no reason including the restaurant. Rooms so cold had to have air con on all night and felt unwell next morning. I could have done with asking for a refund. Absolutely disappointed. Will not recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely welcome at the reception . Very busy with a wedding on ,but as that’s in a separate place we were not affected at all . Tasty and reasonably priced evening meal in the restaurant and good breakfast the next morning. Hot breakfast came a little too quickly in fact while still finishing cereals ! All in all a lovely night away , especially sitting in the front garden with drinks in the sunshine during the afternoon 🌅
