Curolla Petit Hotel

We had a wonderful few days exploring central/Eastern Mallorca. Sabrina and the team and Curolla were extremely helpful and very friendly. They helped us find other vegan-friendly restaurants in the area and helped us arrange bike rentals delivered to the hotel. The vegan breakfast is delicious and there's a good selection of local wines with the restaurant (that's open Fri/Sat/Mon evenings and Sunday brunch). Would 100% recommend

Our stay was short but very pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was nice. The hotel has a large free parking.

Charmantes Hotel. In den einfachen Zimmern definitiv kein Platz auf dem WC. Leider bei der Buchung kein Hinweis auf ausschließlich veganes Frühstück. Nachhaltigkeit leider nicht beim Duschen, hat früh 12 min. gedauert, bis warmes Wasser kam.

Im großen und ganzen eine nette Unterkunft. Die Summe an kleinen Unstimmigkeiten haben uns allerdings nicht gefallen. Es gab keine Seife oder sonstiges auf den Zimmern, die Spiegel waren dreckig, Toilettenpapier wurde nicht aufgefüllt, das Sofa hatte Flecken und der Kühlschrank hat nicht funktioniert. Zudem wurden wir gefragt, ob wir am Abreisetag ein Porridge haben möchten, da wir gg 8 Uhr das Hotel verlassen mussten. Am Morgen war dann aber nichts vorhanden. Zu dem nachhaltigen Konzept passt meiner Meinung nach ebenfalls nicht, dass wir kein kostenloses Wasser bekommen haben und der Verkauf von Wasser im Hotel verhältnismäßig teuer war, wodurch wir im Supermarkt Plastikflaschen kaufen mussten. Ein Wasserspender bspw. hätten wir sehr sinnvoll gefunden. Das Zimmer und die Anlage waren ansonsten schön und gepflegt. Dass wir nochmal buchen würden ist allerdings nicht sehr wahrscheinlich

It's a beautiful hotel, especially the outside and pool area. The staff were hands on on WhatsApp if we needed anything at any time of day or night. They were helpful with anything we needed and very friendly and sweet. The vegan date snack was delicious! Rooms were spacious and there is plenty of parking. It's has a very relaxing vibe that is almost holiday home like.

We had a few issues with our stay. Bare in mind we are not vegan, but have eaten many delicious vegan meals before. The breakfast was very underwhelming, in fact there's barely any food on site which we found a problem. They have one lunch option a day which you can order however they did not sound appetising to us and not having options was difficult. We saw people eating dinner but didn't hear anything about it, probably because we were out most nights, so not sure if there were more options there. They have an 'honest bar' where you can help yourself to snacks, ice cream, drinks, water and keep note of what you had. The options are minimal and apart from the first day it was pretty empty bar the drinks. We ended up bringing our own food into the hotel to eat by the pool one evening and we're told this they would allow it this time, but it wasn't allowed normally. I would understand if food was more readily available. But it's not unless all you want is snacks. We had ants in our room one night however they did sort the problem out very swiftly. There was a weird smell in our rooms most nights. We were given natural soap and shampoo, which is nice touch but they didn't really lather and we had to buy our own. The location of the hotel is very secluded, it's in a tiny town where there is a supermarket and a square with a few restaurants, which admittedly get nicely busy and have decent food. But I would probably stay somewhere with a little more going on next time. It's great if you want to relax and chill and we enjoyed that aspect. In our room the toilet and shower were on the corners of our room with glass doors. We are friends, not a couple so it left very little privacy. I know not all rooms are like this, our friend who also stayed at the same time, had a separate bathroom, however maybe keep that in mind if you're coming with a friend.
