Cuc Phuong Bungalow

Great location for national park

No remote for aircon do couldn't use (room listing stated aircon), fan loud and rattly, window latch had been removed so couldn't open. Dirty - pee on toilet seat from previous guest, room generally dirty - stains on bedding, marks on walls, someone's almost finished cup of tea on window sill. Went out for dinner at 6.30pm, returned at 8pm to find we had been locked out of report (gate by road closed and locked) - not sure how this happened as we told owner we were going to dinner and he saw us leave.

Good linens, pillows and bed (if you like it firm), adequate hot water, no heat but enough blankets to keep warm, cute thatched roof bungalow, nicely landscaped, good location right outside the park, friendly family-run operation

Roosters crowing at all hours. But hey, what do you expect in the countryside?

The owner was very nice and super helpful. Closely located to the national park. The bungalow were different (in a good way) from everything we've had so far and the view was amazing.

The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. My wife and the kid slept okay though.

Great experience. To my surprise the owner spoke good English. I could tell right away that he was a very friendly and trustworthy person. He and the rest of the family were very hospitable. I stayed in the bungalow and it was very clean with a good quality mosquito net. There is also hot water and they provided shampoo and other toiletries. The location was very quiet and convenient because it is right next to Cuc Phuong Park. and they offer motorbike rental for a good price which is handy. So overall I really couldn't have expected anything more from these very nice and accommodating people.
