Fantastic facilities - way beyond a normal rental

The property was very large, clean and spacious, well equipped and with studio apartments on the upper floors. It was very conveniently located next door to a Spar supermarket and within easy walking distance of Flanders museum, the market square and close to Menin Gate. The host Deborah was very helpful and responsive and accommodated our request for an early check in which was much appreciated. My adult son and daughter thought this was the best accommodation we had stayed in as a family!

The stairs were a bit narrow for some of us but probably typical for the age of property the banister was wobbly and the first floor bedrooms shared a single toilet oddly situated inset off the landing adjacent to one of the bedrooms despite each having spacious bathrooms. Also having coffee machines and fridges in those bathrooms seemed quirky to me given that the bedrooms were large enough to accommodate both. The loft room shower did not seem to have hot water but had we reported this I'm sure it would have been resolved quickly.
