Porto Garden Studio - Santa Catarina

Affordable little one bedroom apartment within a short walk of some of the main streets of Porto. The apartment isn't very big, but it has everything a couple would need for a several day stay. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and on time. Note that while the walk from the nearest metro station isn't far, it is very much an uphill walk (like most of Porto). This could be challenging with luggage, but wasn't an issue during normal site seeing. We typically found ourselves walking downhill for a day / evening out and then taking Bolt / Uber back. It is also located just above a kabob shop, but we never had an issue with noise or anything else when coming / going or being in the unit. It's a great spot for those who want to be an easy walk to all of the sites without paying the premium prices!

Most of Porto was in easy walking distance. If needed the Metro is also very close.

Great location and everything needs was supplied in the apartment. It was small but fine for 2 travellers. It was very hot in Porto when we were there so were using the aircon which was just coping. Very safe apartment and immaculate.

Maybe a bigger bed but probably not possible in the apartment we were in. We are used to a big bed at home so found the double bed little.

Perfect location, the studio size is essential (perfect for one, just enough for two people). All needed to cook, sleep and get a shower. Big windows provide the right light for every moment of our day. It's a nice place probably too pricey overall.

We could not sleep with our windows open because of the all night/early morning traffic (end of Rua Santa Caterina), very important for us to get oxygen and do not wake up dizzy. There was a weird noise due to the air conditioning that we didn't figure out how to stop but then we took use of it.

It was a good location, it was nice having an apartment. There was a good TV with Netflix and CNN, etc. It was nice having the breakfast delivered to your door.

I would have liked a bigger breakfast. It was nice that after the first day, I could send an sms to the breakfast woman telling her to bring me tea instead of coffee, but perhaps we should get a questionnaire when we arrive so that we get the right drink from the beginning. It was nice that twice she brought me homemade cakes, but I want to have eggs for breakfast and although I requested it after the first day, I only got it twice and it was only one hardboiled egg.
