Pompei Luxury Suites-Near Ruins

Nice specious room, the breakfast was not offer but they had a very good coffe mashine and few snack but we went out for breakfast. The bed and pillow are very comfortable I sleepy very well .

Well placed for a visit to Pompei archeological site, easy walking distance to one of the entrances. Also, 5 minutes walk from/to Pompei train station where one can catch the Circumvesuviana line between Naples and Sorrento. On a mostly pedestrian main street in the town with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Our suite was at the back of the building and had a balcony. An optimal location for visiting the area. We stayed 6 nights and found the suite generally comfortable and reasonably well equipped. The espresso pod machine is a nice touch! Some criticisms: the bed could use better quality sheets (they were cheap feeling and had a couple of holes) and a proper duvet to make it truly comfortable. The bedspread used is too large and heavy. The bathroom towels were thin and had holes in them (also could use more of them for a longer stay). Improving these things would bring more of a “luxury” feeling to the place. The floor is cold, which would be an advantage in the summer but not in early April. Could use a couple of rugs. As it is I would not call this a luxury suite. We didn’t see the owner but her communication by whatsapp was satisfactory. The apartment is reasonably priced. All in all we enjoyed our stay in Pompei and can recommend this suite.

The stairs are a little slippery when wet, so be mindful, and use the railing. That we only stayed 2 nights!

Amazing location right in the centre of Pompei. Carmen was always easy to contact and available for any questions. Eating breakfast in the sun outside in the cafe across the road was a great start to the day. Just make sure you choose the option with breakfast included in the price. Would definitely recommend.

We were in the middle studio so the view was just the courtyard, otherwise it was a great base to explore the surrounding area.

We were very pleased with the location and the quality of the room. The water was hot, the plumbing worked, the facilities operated as they should. When an appliance failed, it was replaced immediately. The apartment faces the rear of the building, so it was quiet, but the view was of the neighboring gardens, the cityscape, and distant mountains. We lived here a few weeks, so all was well tested. It was 'cozy' but clean, secure, comfortable, and sunny, and the kitchenette served our needs. We shopped along nearby streets, walked to the ruins of Pompei, took the train to the southern coast, took a local tour to Naples and generally lived la dolce vita. Overall, the experience was excellent.

The rooms are operated by remote control, that is, the owner is not on-site. We had difficulty getting access to the keys and were not alone in that. But the owner strives hard to support the guests, so stay in touch and know EXACTLY what to do before you get to the property. The suites are also on the 3d floor (segundo piano, or piano II) and there is no lift. We seniors puffed mightily up the steps, and anyone not in shape will, too. But younger or spry people can easily make the trip.
