Vík Hostel

Super cozy and clean!!

Staying here was so fun, the other people staying here were great and it was very clean and cozy. The dogs were incredibly cute, cuddly and playful and the ducks and chickens were very cute as well. The location is good, maybe a 10 minute walk from the closest store and the "center" of Vik, you also had some lovely small businesses nearby like a crepe stand with delicious sweet and salty crepes. The kitchen was excellent and very organized and tidy.

On a side note the roosters could be quite loud in the morning, personally I didn't notice or mind it very much. Also there was also only one shower per floor but I never had to wait to go shower and didn't hear that anyone else would've had to do that either.

It was not what I expected for a "hostel". Had everything we needed. Very clean!

I thought other properties in Iceland were better. During my stay in Iceland, I felt that I paid the most at this hostel and I was very disappointed at what I got compared to the others for what I was charged.

There were too many people booked for the hostel and it was very loud and not enough bathrooms
