Staff were friendly and polite. The location was great.

The facilities as advertised were non-existent. There was no kitchen accessibility, nor a simple kettle in the room. Booking.com advertised it as an apartment, but it was just a pokey little en-suite room.

Easy check-in, plenty of supermarkets and cheap restaurants nearby, no curfew

1. Not allowed to use the kitchen even though they put the photo of kitchen in their profile which is misleading. I asked before how could we get water to drink and the staff said I need to buy bottle water from the shops nearby which is ridiculous. To be fair they said afterwards that I could get tap water in the kitchen however it is still not a good gesture at all. 2. The free toiletries is extremely few and completely not enough. It is only enough for two people using for at most 2 days. I lived there for 4 nights and could only buy from the shop on my own. Tried to ask for additional toiletries but turned away by the staff. 3. Very dirty on arrival. The desk was not cleaned completely and full of dirt and hairs where we cleaned by ourselves. It is far below satisfactory level. 4. There is no trash bin in the room which is very inconvenient. Everytime when we have rubbish to put away, we will need to go out and do so. If you want the tenant to keep clean please provide a rubbish bin.

Mattress uncomfortable with springs sticking into you, no lock on inside of main door (someone came into our room while sleeping and woke us up). Were not allowed to use any kitchen facilities and were told we would receive a fine if used, when pictures in advertisement included pictures of kitchen.

The price. 24hr reception. Looked after my language on the last day for an hour or two at no extra charge.

Hard bed.

Location is good. Short walk to centre and Lime street station. My flight was delayed and they were very helpful on accommodating my later than planned check-in.
