Loved our stay at the Park Lane Motel. Great views, lovely public spaces overlooking the lake, and right in town. We will be back!

It was a great stay from start to finish. Checkin great, clean and super comfortable bed. Great area to stay, shops and a beautiful view. Lots of grills, very nice pool area.

Worst hotel ever. Save your money. Asked specifically how old you had to be rent a room and they said I was good Once I got there they said it was against their policy. Now I had to look for a new room after a 6 hour drive. Thanks for a horrible start to our vacation.

Very clean and safe area. Everyone was paying attention and kind. Tons of restaurants around.

Parking is a little tough, but everyone seems to deal with it. Room was great, fixtures in bathroom could have used an update. Overall, an excellent 3 days.

The location of this motel is great. It’s in walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, activities, and to the ferry services. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The motel has kayaks and paddle board rentals, plenty of grills for guests to use either at the pool or on the deck overlooking the lake. The room was standard, no frills. The bed was more comfortable than most hotel beds I’ve slept on. There are only a couple things that could be better: The window to the room didn’t open so there was no fresh air coming in, which would have been ok if there was a bathroom exhaust fan, but there wasn’t… so it got stuffy and unpleasant smelling when we had to do our business. The air conditioner was helpful, but it’s nothing like some fresh air. *Note* there were only a few rooms didn’t have windows that open and lucky us got one of them. Overall, our stay was great, location and the property exterior is fantastic, and the price is excellent.

Came here with family. This hotel is centrally located. Parking sucks but already expected it to be. It’s just tight parking and you have to do special maneuvers to get out because of the limited space to turn your car. Hotel grounds are clean - only issue I had is when we rented kayaks I noticed a pile of poop on the grass/sand part but other then that the grounds are kept maintained. Love the wood boardwalk by the beach area and to the kayaks. Wish they would of extended it from the steps leading down to the beach part so that if you choose not to walk on the sand you don’t have too. Some suggestions— wish they would have a time slot signup on a website or app or piece of paper at front desk for guests that want to use the gas fire pit tables — because their were families during our stay that had the tables for hours and there are only 4 or 5 tables which makes it a fight to get one. I can’t imagine the fight over the tables in the busy months because this was only may and the hotel was packed from the holiday and also americade and just general tourist.. I feel personally that the hotel should have a 90 minute time slot for each table per room , per day. But that can also be interesting for families that booked multiple rooms because then they could have a guest from the other room just book a 90 minute time slot under their room and now that whole family would have over 2 hours at a fire pit table. Guess that whole suggestion would have to be well thought out but definitely think something should be done because the tables are a nice feature and it’s just not fair to allow guests all access for countless hours. The rooms are big, nice and clean. Toilet in our room was very close to the bathroom door . Drain in sink went down super slow. Other then that- I’d give it a 7 out of 10 They did ice pops one day for the kids And they have bbq grills if you wanna cook or do s’mores . I would go back. Also, the paper that the hotel gives you at check in states that guests get discounted rates for the paddle boards and kayaks — don’t know what the non-guest rate would be but the kayaks were $10 hour.
